Karey Goodall - Superintendent of International Schools in the Western Region

We are pleased to announce that Ms. Karey Goodall has joined Maarif Company as Superintendent of Manarat Jeddah, Green Hills and Manarat Al-Maddinah International Schools. With over two decades of experience in educational leadership across various international settings, Karey brings extensive expertise in school improvement, strategic development, and fostering educational outcomes.

Karey’s leadership journey includes her recent role as Executive Principal at the Victorian International School in Sharjah, UAE, where she led the strategic management of the largest campus within the VISS Group. Under her guidance, the school received recognition from SPEA as a leading educational institution in Sharjah. Karey’s responsibilities included overseeing governance, ensuring compliance with SPEA regulations, and enhancing academic programs and student well-being initiatives. Her leadership and commitment to continuous improvement were essential in maintaining high standards and fostering community partnerships.

Prior to her role in Sharjah, Karey served as Principal at Nun Academy in Jeddah, KSA, where she successfully led the school through CIS inspection and accreditation, emphasizing a "Glocal" educational approach that integrated local heritage with international curriculum standards.

Karey’s career also includes significant achievements as Head of School at Sunshine Beach State High School in Queensland, Australia, where she led initiatives in STEM education and inclusive learning environments. Her approach to middle school education gained state-wide recognition for excellence in pedagogical design and collaborative teaching practices.

Karey holds a range of professional certifications and is actively involved in international educational organizations such as the International Baccalaureate and CIS. Her commitment to professional development is demonstrated by her participation in leadership programs and conferences worldwide.
